Those objects might include rebars, prestressing strands, electrical wires, water pipes, utility conduits, etc. In such cases, NDT Concrete will scan your structure or ground, mark the locations of the objects, and let you know where you can safely cut, dig, or core. 

Furthermore, if you are planning for a renovation or new construction project, we can help you investigate the existing site. For instance, through subsurface imaging, we can detect man-made utilities or man-modified conditions. Specifically, those include water mains, sewage, electrical and communication cables, gas pipelines,  mines and tunnels. Similarly, our concrete imaging will help you understand the condition of existing slabs, beams and columns, etc.

Last but not least, our most distinguished service in concrete scanning market is with regard to mapping of corrosive environment. For which, we will survey your concrete deck or slab with GPR and then provide you a color-coded map that indicates the areas of corrosive environment. As an option, you will also be able to see the results in the form of an image showing in details corroded bar locations.
